D’origine polonaise, Paulina est une artiste pluridisciplinaire qui réside et travaille à Paris. Autodidacte, elle centre principalement sa pratique autour de la photographie — non pas comme une fin en soi, mais comme un médium grâce auquel elle permet au spectateur l’accès à son univers intime, souvent troublant.

Au cœur de son travail se trouve l’image d’une jeune femme qui, ayant été modèle depuis l’âge de sept ans, se réapproprie aujourd’hui son corps et son image à travers l’autoportrait.

Depuis 2017, elle travaille également comme mannequin de couvertures de livres et à ce titre figure déjà sur 91 couvertures d’ouvrages de fiction. Son œuvre, qui aborde des thématiques telles que l’objectivation du corps féminin, l’image de soi, l’autonomie, ainsi que les frontières floues entre enfance et âge adulte, s’inscrit dans une vie marquée par la mobilité et la transition — Paulina ayant vécu dans plusieurs pays avant de s’installer à Paris.

Ses photographies sont profondément autobiographiques, portant les traces d’expériences personnelles gravées à la fois dans son corps et dans son esprit.


Parallèlement à sa pratique artistique, Paulina développe un dialogue entre recherche et création. Elle est titulaire d’un Bachelor of Science de Royal Holloway, University of London (2017–2020), et diplômée de Sciences Po Paris (2022–2024). Elle est actuellement élève à l’École Normale Supérieure (Ulm), où elle mène un travail de recherche sur les archives photographiques inédites de Dora Maar (1907–1997) dans le cadre d’un master en histoire de l’art.

Originally from Poland, Paulina is a multidisciplinary artist who lives and works in Paris. Self-taught, she mainly focuses her practice on photography — not as an end in itself, but as a medium that allows the viewer access to her intimate, often unsettling universe.

At the heart of her work is the image of a young woman who, having been a model since the age of seven, is now reclaiming her body and her image through self-portraiture.

Since 2017, she has also worked as a book cover model and has appeared on 91 fiction book covers to date. Her work addresses themes such as the objectification of the female body, self-image, autonomy, and the blurred boundaries between childhood and adulthood, reflecting a life marked by mobility and transition — Paulina having lived in several countries before settling in Paris.

Her photographs are deeply autobiographical, bearing traces of personal experiences etched both in her body and in her mind.

Alongside her artistic practice, Paulina fosters a dialogue between research and creation. She holds a Bachelor of Science from Royal Holloway, University of London (2017–2020), and graduated from Sciences Po Paris (2022–2024). She is currently a student at the École Normale Supérieure (Ulm), where she is conducting research on the unpublished photographic archives of Dora Maar (1907–1997) as part of a master’s degree in art history.
